  Capstone Assessments

The Capstone is the culminating experience in The Bioethics Program. Held on-site at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and on the Union Graduate College campus, the Capstone reunites students and faculty. At the Capstone students present their projects to each other, demonstrate their skills in research and teaching, and are assessed for competency in clinical ethics and research ethics through various scenarios and demonstrations at Mount Sinai's Morchand Center. Each student is also given a one-on-one “future plans” session with a faculty member before participating in graduation exercises.
