Bonnie Steinbock to give Breakfast Talk on Advance Directives

Union Graduate College hosts “Advance Directives, Dementia, and Physician-Assisted Death” by Bonnie Steinbock, PhD.

Schenectady, NY (April 21, 2011) Bonnie Steinbock, a Professor of Philosophy at the University at Albany, and a founding faculty member of the Union-Mt. Sinai Bioethics Program will present a breakfast program for students and interested members of the public.

Wednesday, May 4,2011 at 9:30am, Union Graduate College, 80 Nott Terrace, Schenectady, New York.

Dr. Steinbock  is the author of 65 articles and encyclopedia entries, and Life Before Birth: The Moral and Legal Status of Embryos and Fetuses (Oxford 1992; paperback edition 1996). She is the editor of The Oxford Handbook of Bioethics (2007) and Legal and Ethical Issues in Human Reproduction (Ashgate 2002).  She is a Fellow of the Hastings Center, and a member of the ethics committee of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine.
