Bioethics Breakfast: "Creating an Epidemic of Perverts: The DSM-5's New Approach to Paraphilias." -Dr. Patrick Singy

On Wednesday, March 2nd, we held the first Bioethics Breakfast Talk in our 2011 series. Our Scholar in Residence, Dr. Patrick Singy, presented the proposed changes to the upcoming DSM-V regarding the diagnosing of paraphilias, that redraw the line between "normal" and "perverted". It was a very interesting presentation of a controversial topic followed by lively discussion.  For those of you who couldn't attend in person, the presentation is avilable here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/22528725/Bioethics%20Breakfast%20-%20PSingy%20-%20030211%20medium.mov
