With over 35 years of experience as a business lawyer, Richard Koo (J.D. Columbia School of Law and B.A. Columbia College) has served as outside corporate counsel to international and domestic firms and legal adviser to many entrepreneurs and business persons. As a partner of a large New York City firm (Townley & Updike), a founder of a medium-sized law firm in White Plains (Koo Larrabee Sash & Lane LLP) and now a sole practitioner, he has provided advice on a broad spectrum of legal issues arising from the conduct of business and has had the opportunity to negotiate and close many different kinds of transactions and work on a variety of contracts and legal documents. He is admitted to practice law in New York and Arizona. He also earned a MS Bioethics degree from The Bioethics Program and serves as an Adjunct on the faculty of The Bioethics Program and on the Ethics Committees of Tucson Medical Center and VNA Hospice Care of Westchester and Putnam.
